While it may seem liar even today continues to be made this time of year BRUTAL, Dantesque, bloody slaughter in the Faroe Islands, which belong to Denmark . A country supposedly 'civilization' AND EUROPEAN UNION country. For many people this attack to life is unknown , to sensitivity. IN THIS bloody slaughter to attend Moz to 'show' entering adulthood (!) Is absolutely incredible that no one does A SHIT to prevent this barbarism that are committed against Calderon, an intelligent dolphin who has the particularity of approaching People out of sheer curiosity. fwd this everywhere, PLEASE...

Get your facts straight. The Faroe Islands do not *belong* to Denmark. They have their own flag, language, government and so forth. They are not members of the EU either. Trust me, if the danish goverment were in any position to stop this, then they would do so.
Look up "rigsfællesskbet" on google for more infor on the special relationship between Denmark and the Faroe Islands.
With that said: Yes. It's terrible. Yes. It should be stopped. But don't blame Denmark, since Denmark is not in a position to do any more about it, any more than India, Argentina or Thailand is.

Also, the aim of this bloodbath is not to kill any calderon dolphins. The intended pray is the "Grind Whale". This bloobath used to serve the purpose of securing food for the people of the Faroe Islands. So as barbaric as it is, it used to be a nessesity in order to sustain life there. Now, however, it is totally unnessesary and should indeed be stopped.

I cant believe this is allowed! They need to do this for food- excuse me? Heard of importing? Also, (oh yey) they are not targeting the dolphins- just the whales...oh well that makes it better then! And the dolphins- they just , what, get in the way?
How about next time I'm driving to the supermarket (to get food) I'll just drive over anyone who gets in between me and my food! I'm not really targeting them, just trying to get to my food source.
And on my son's 18th birthday, I'll let him drive so that he can bash over a few pedestrians and so, become a MAN!
I cannot believe that the rest of world allows this to continue. Needless to say, I am a journalist and I want to be there the next time this takes place and I will return with photos, video and some strong words to help get the world to sit up and take notice. The government of the Faroe Islands should be very ashamed of themselves for letting this take place.
I would like to leave this with a thought, when all dolphins and whales are extinct- how will the boys of Faroe become men then?
